Donte Mearon is THROWiNG PAiNT, which is his art company based on what happens when the concept of nature and graffiti is intertwined. While some may initially think that the two are contrary concepts, Donte likes to celebrate the unexpected beauty that can be seen and discovered in both, especially when brought together in one piece or one series. Most common mediums used to express this intersection are acrylic on canvas and silkscreen printing on bags and apparel.

THROWiNG PAiNT also seeks to develop community partnerships by collaborating with local businesses interested in promoting the arts and by working with schools to offer kids and adults exposure to the arts. Donte enjoys introducing art in an approachable way, allowing the paint to fall where it will, which has made him highly sought after for parties where interactive art is part of the entertainment. Additionally, Donte has been commissioned to do artwork for various local charity fundraising events and for unique custom pieces to serve a variety of styles and occasions by individuals and businesses.
